Believers from other religions have also practised and promoted interreligious dialogue.   They have used the resources of their own traditions and followed the example of their founders, leaders, scholars and saints.  They have responded to intiatives and also taken the initiative.  Sometimes they have been far ahead of Catholics in their openness, hospitality and welcome!
