A letter of solidarity from Fr Tim Mulroy, Society Leader of the Missionary Society of St Columban, to our Muslim brothers and sisters in Aotearoa/New Zealand and around the world.

We condemn all forms of violence, extremism and terror; we pray for all those killed and
injured in the attacks on the Friday prayers in Christchurch, their families and friends and all affected by this tragedy.

To Muslims I say, you are not “invaders” or “aliens”. You are not “other”. You are my sister and brother.  You are family. You are citizens. You belong.
