In February 2014, 10 Columbans from around the world gathered in Lahore, Pakistan, to share and reflect on our various involvements in interreligious dialogue and to plan ways to promote this very important missionary apostolate among our fellow Columban missionaries, priests, lay missionaries, sisters.  The results of our deliberations were discussed at the Interregional/Mission Unit (IRMU) meeting in the Philippines and in April the General Council approved the Columban IRD Action Plan.
